Tata Sky Sends SMS at Odd Hours

Hi,
I'm from Chennai. For the past 6 months I was using Tata Sky. Since I get only 6/7 Tamil Channels I moved out of Tata Sky recently, back to Cable TV. So I did not recharge my Tata Sky connection. When my tata sky connection was to expire I got few SMS's from about the expiry and asking me to buy the recharge coupon at around 1 AM. The message woke me up and was not able to continue with my sleep after that. Now that it has expired and again I continue to receive SMS at odd hours in the night/early morning saying my connection has been de-activated. I doubt this to be a kind of harassment for moving out of Tata Sky.
Could TataSky give me a proper explanation for not sending the messages at day time and sending the message only at odd hours.
