Bachelor of Music degree in Flute Performance. Priscilla has also studied voice for many years with a prominent Boston area classical singer and perform with a well-known Boston area choral group. She has attended summer chamber music workshops for many years, in the U.S., Canada and Italy, where she has performed as a flutist and as a singer. Her extensive musical background as a classical singer and flutist has given her a good "ear" for tone quality, pitch, rhythm, phrasing and nuance. As a classically trained singer, her experience in singing in Italian, Spanish, French and German, translates in to her ability to read words in these languages. As a performer, Priscilla is often required to address audiences to speak about the music. She has also taught private and group music lessons to children and adults, as well as nature classes to young children. Her background in performance, teaching, and involvement in community activities has given her a good experience in adjusting her vocal style and presentation, and this experience enhances her ability to give the appropriate voice to a variety of voice-over "audiences." |
