Antara belongs to a Musicians family. Her father Dr. Ramesh Tagde is doctor of violin and one of the well-known personalities in the field of performing arts. Antara selected "words" as her mates rather then musical "swaras".

She has done her post graduation as M.I.B. (Master of International Business) and also holds music degrees in classical vocal and violin.

She started writing for a newspaper at the age of 15. She has successfully run a religious column with a Haryana based newspaper for 2 years. Her regular features appear in leading Hindi dailies and magazines. Her main subject line is Woman related subject, spiritualism, self-development, personality development for youth, inspirational literature etc. in Hindi as well as English.

Antara is a regular translator for some of the leading publishers of India for English, Hindi, Marathi to Hindi combination. Some of her titles are being published and she is a regular translator for some of the leading agencies of India and overseas. She is experienced in book translation as well as website translations. She has successfully handled overseas projects including websites, books, language learner, press releases, literature content etc.  

Antara is involved with leading subtitling companies and doing regular subtitling projects for international documentaries and movies for English to Hindi combination.

She is editing one religious Hindi magazine "Trailokya" which is getting proper response. She is also editing another magazine named "Indra Darshan".

Antara is a published author and having three titles with her name. They are Hindi short story collection "Den uski, Hamare liye" English poetry collection, "Sheer Blessings" and Hindi poetry collection "Bepar Udane". Her book "Den uski, Hamare liye" has received Akhil Bhartiya "Ambikaprasad divya rajat alankaran". She has received "Bharti Ratna" award for her overall working in Hindi literature.

Antara has a strong presence on internet. Her poems and articles feature on sites including Anubhuti, Abhivyakti, Kavyaalaya, Ekatha, Kabirweb, Hindinest etc.

Antara is associated with AIR (All India Radio), Vatican Radio and Radio Veritaas   as a writer as well as voiceover artiste. She has "Vani Pramaan Patra" as her voice is certified for voice-over projects. She has done audio books, background versions and many voice recording projects.
