I will outline the points directly-
a) The Government wanted viewers to be able to choose what they want to see and what they do not.
b) The cable operators were forcing channel packages on customers without allowing them to choose not to see what they did not want.
c) The DTH operators are doing the same thing and continue to force customers to swallow packages at pre-packed prices.
d) As a result, our right to pay a basic charge for free-to-air channels plus a fixed charge for every additional paid channel has been colourfully thrown out of the window.

CONCLUSION: A BUNCH OF SWINDLERS SWINDLING THE PUBLIC GALORE.
