I would like to bring your notice that I have paid Rs.900 extra while renewing the DISHTV subscription. As my new VC card number (01501885169) was not updated in dishtv site under subscriber profile, I have put old VC number 01500727409 and renewed by paying through credit card. Again next day I have renewed the new viewing card number by paying Rs. 900 towards 3 months subscription. So I request you to refund my amount of Rs.900 which was paid extra. I have attached my credit card statement scanned copy for your reference.

Kindly do the refund at the earliest and oblige.

I don't have any transaction ID as I got error message after renewing the card (for both new & Old card) but, my credit card was debited for Rs. 900
for each transactions. I had enclosed credit card statement in my previous mail. Again I am attaching the same for your reference. The date of
transaction is 2-Aug-2007 for old card (which was returned to Mangalore dishtv dealer in broken condition) & new card transaction date is 03-Aug-2007.

This is my last mail regarding the refund issue. I have been following it up since past 2 months for my refund of excess payment. I have not received even a single reply. When I called customer care several times they gave only complaint numbers and at last told to mail Mr. Gagan at gagan_b@dishtvindia.com which was bouncing back. Now if I call customer care, they keep me on hold the line for several minutes and disconnect the phone. As I have paid the amount Rs.900 through credit card credit card company has charged 385.19 as late payments. I have spent over 500 rupees from mobile for this stupid thing.

NOW I HAVE DECIDED TO GO TO CONSUMER COURT, IF I DIDN'T GET MY REFUND OF RS.1785.19 INCLUDING LATE PAYMENT FEE & TELEPHONE CHARGES.

I DO NOT EXPECT ANY MAIL OR CALL, JUST MY REFUND WITH IN A WEEK (i.e. BEFORE 27TH SEP 2007).

This is not only the issue, I wanted to change language zone from Kannada to Hindi. for that they have collected extra from me, but It took 20-25 days to activate after the repeated follow up.

After 1 year, viewing card was suddenly stopped working (who knows if they have blocked it). When checked with the dealer in Mangalore he gave me a new card collecting Rs. 400/- (Later I came to know that other dealer collect just Rs. 100/-. I still have the bill for that Rs. 400/-)

SO PLEASE THINK TWICE BEFORE YOU SELECT IT.

I paid my subscription in advance.now i want to discontinue the service because it has lot of problem in connectivity .
Now i am asking money but not paying my extra money of which i not availed the service.

Worst customer care of DISHTV NEW

I purchase dishtv by online payment on 21st April 2012 and it is installed on night of24th of April .
It works only for 24 hours and the vc got fault.
When I made a complaint about it, they assured me the problem will be resolved within 24 hours.Next day, the answer is same that is withing 24 hours, and so on.Upto this time, the problem is not solved.The call centre people, said that the complaint may be sent to customercare@dishtv.in . But it is very worst then these call centre people.
I finally made a conclusion not to continue this service. I won't recharge it again. Thinking that Rs.1090 was given to a begger is wise.

i am a dishtv subscriber with VC NO.01504000818. the receiver supplied is substandard ang gets malfunctioning every now and then, when complained the dishtv says to pay Rs.900 + for replacement, but when enquired with dealers no positive response or they have no stock of receivers, even recharging is also not easy as every dishtv dealer doesnt have proper recharge cards or e-charge, once a new package or top up is added the dishtv takes its own time upto a week or month, hence i am not satisfied with the services of DISHTV

Wright the services provided by the dish tv are not effective/ not sensible nor their customer care executive have any knowledge to dealt with the problem discussed with them , just take their own time as to show they are working and solving the problem,hence after completion of recharge period i am thinking discontinuing their services definitely .As from 6 months I am in fallup of solving the parental lock pin code which was forgotten by me , till date they haven't resolved the same .

IN-EFFICIENT SERVICE, VERY POOR CUSTOMER CARE OF DISH TV

I purchased a DishTV on 7.8.10 by paying Rs. 2100/= in cash. The disc was installed on 8.8.10. I was assured that my account will be activated within 4 hours and a maximum in 24 hours. However, it was not activated even after 48 hours and the fellow at customer care ( some Robin) told me that the dealer has not yet sent the form to the DishTV office. I fail to understand if the form was not there, how could they come and installed the Disc. I am waiting only for Six hours more and then filing a suit in consumer court. My VC no. is 01510243404. So far, I am totally Dis-satisfied with the service and functioning of DISH TV.

Hi My Self Shashank Bhosle And I am Cutomer of Dish Tv Since 2006 till date.Few month Back My Settop Box got problem of Audo and gave it to repair to their service center(Kaizen Comunication)with good conditon and they not able to repaired it and send back to me with bad Condtion,so called them and ask what happend with my bax its not working.they reply me "Aap ka box bhangar hochuka hai koi kaam ka nahi hai".immedatly I called to main Off.and they also Not reply.So All my Friends Pls Dont By DIsh Tv In Your Life.

i have purchased new connection of DISH TV on 6/2/10. since i am leaving the city and donot wish to carry it. whether the amount can be refundable with return of dish.

another point is whether dish TV can be attached to a computer and how?

Dish TV hopeless

Dish TV customer care is really hopeless.
They don't even reply to your emails.
Once a problem is registered with their call center, they don't see it through the end. they just assign it to some local unprofessional partners of theirs for resolution.
And if they are unable to resolve, thatts the end of it. no more follow up for the resolution of the proble.
I hope people stop buying Dish TV so that these people will know that customers should not be taken for granted.
